These chapters made me feel very sorry for Huck. He was finally adjusting to life with Widow Douglas when Pap kidnaps him. With his father, Huck is constantly fearing for his life. That is very scary. Before his father appeared, Huck knew he was coming. I can not believe he knew after all those years of not seeing him. Huck also knew that he should get rid of his money. For not being very smart in school, Huck has a lot of common sense. Huck knew how to live in the real world.
