These chapters face many moral dilemmas.  I think that Huck wants Jim to be free, but his conscience does not.  He feels bad about taking Jim from Miss Watson.  Miss Watson taught Huck how to read and how to behave.  On another level, Huck looks at Jim as a somewhat equal when Huck apologizes to Jim.  When they were separated, Huck looked for the raft and Jim.  I believe Huck faces many dilemmas in the following chapters.
